Local farmers are more inclined to invest in the maintenance and performance of existing agricultural machinery than to purchase new or used ones, according to the results of a survey conducted jointly by the www.aa-p.ru platform, Avito.Ru and Pole.Ru. There is a clear trend towards an increase in the service life of agricultural machinery: farmers have begun to treat it with more care, thus the need for spare parts and high-quality repairs is growing. Based on the data of the Avito.ru website, in 2024 the demand for spare parts increased seven times compared to the previous year, and the supply increased by one hundred percent. The top five cities with the largest growth in demand for agricultural spare parts included settlements from regions with the most dynamic agricultural sector.

Based on analytics collected from Pole.ru, there is a 7-fold increase in the interest of farmers in spare parts for agricultural machinery this year. Farmers now prefer a practical and, in fact, simple way to order spare parts on portals. Therefore, it becomes clear who is the manufacturer of spare parts, and comprehensive support is guaranteed, from the selection of components to delivery. At the same time, leasing of new agricultural machinery is relevant, the demand for which is growing seven times annually, especially taking into account state support.

Based on analytics obtained from Avito, at the start of 2025, about 120000 ads for the sale of spare parts for agricultural machinery in Russia were presented on this online platform. From this selection, more than 117000 applications concerned the sale of new parts. The most popular commodity items in the country this year were platforms, booths, attachments, bodies, as well as parts of pneumatic systems. The manager of the specialized department for the sale of spare parts on the Avito.Ru website says that against the backdrop of the import substitution course, the agricultural sector is showing active growth and is in constant need of high-quality equipment, equipment, specialists and components.

Earlier, the Association's press releases noted a decrease in the production of combines in Russia this year. According to statistics from the Ministry of Agriculture, during this year, Russian agricultural enterprises have reduced the level of orders for basic types of agricultural machinery. It is assumed that this trend will remain important this year.
